The passion for construction is rooted in blood for Jaimy. It is his family’s engineering legacy. He grew up in a family full of engineers, and most importantly, he was inspired by his father who was part of the American oil-industry expansion in Western Europe of the 70’s and 80’s. While his one brother turned naval engineer, involved in constructing the AbuDhabi Terminals, and another brother turned “haute-cuisine” engineer, Jaimy focused on construction. With this rich family legacy, Jaimy learned how to implement precision and quality in building construction projects.
At the TU Delft in Holland, Jaimy studied civil engineering. He learned and practiced for years and made him capable of implementing the principles and practices of construction. During this span, the knowledge he gained and experience he got from the hands-on experience made him stronger in this field and laid a stronger foundation for his future construction project. That is what he implements in every client’s project.
When he relocated to the Dominican Republic, Jaimy found a significant opportunity in upgrading the local construction standards. He had a clear vision in mind: to bring the quality of the first-world countries to the region. Thus, he created Dutch Craft Builders. His approach is clear and straightforward and can be defined by the precise attention to every little detail. He is always committed to best practices to ensure every project meets the highest levels of expertise.
